Our studio portraiture is perfect for individuals wishing to have a “knock ‘em dead” online profile picture or perhaps taking their first steps in modelling and needing a cracking portfolio. It’s also great for couples wanting to capture the spirit of their relationship or maybe those carefree days before the patter of tiny feet. Of course a studio portrait is often the bastion of a family album or the crowning glory to a fireplace but there’s no reason they have to be staid and formal.
Worth a thousand words
We believe that for portraiture to be truly successful it should say something about the subject and those they’re with. We want to capture the personalities of our clients, that’s why we encourage you to bring a selection of outfits and props to the studio that sum up the interests of those involved; even if the props don’t make it in to the final photographs it can often spark some magic moments that we’ll capture.
We pride ourselves on not just being a high key studio – you know the type of thing, just a white background in every photograph. Dean takes time to create different moods by designing the lighting that suits the client and their interests. At your viewing we’ll present a rounded portfolio of photographs with a variety of differing looks including some stunning timeless black and white images. One thing is for certain, you’ll have difficulty selecting the images for your finishing touches.

What’s involved
Initial telephone consultation so that we can talk through your requirements and come up with ideas for any props;
Upon arrival at the studio we have a chat over a coffee to finalise our ideas for the photoshoot;
Approximately one hour photoshoot including a number of different setups and outfits;
We undertake post production on your images to make them shine;
One to two weeks later you return to the studio for your cinematic viewing experience of your perfected photographs;
You make your finishing touches selections from our wide range of art products;
Approximately two weeks after your viewing your finishing touches will be ready for collection and showing off to your friends and family.
